Do-It-Yourself with your library card!

Resource Spotlight: Hobbies and Crafts Reference Center

Getting started on your spring plans and projects? Your Buda library card can help.  In addition to the wide variety of DIY and craft books available in the library, you also have access to a plethora of online resources for more than 100 crafts and hobbies at the The Hobbies and Craft Reference Center, including genealogy, knitting, gardening, rock-climbing, crafts, etc.

Powered by EBSCO, the Hobbies and Craft Reference Center is an online resource provided through TexShare Databases. Buda Public Library card holders can access it by signing into their account on the Buda Public Library Catalog page and selecting the TexShare Database link listed under the Electronic Resources column. Once the TexShare Database page loads, you can find the link for the Hobbies and Crafts Center in the DIY Resource Centers section.

In addition to accessing a wide variety of hobby and craft resources, using a specific search or browse through the different categories of hobbies and crafts, you can also create an account to keep track of your favorite articles, images and videos for access later.
