The Buda Public Library is a part of the Central Texas Digital Consortium, an online platform powered by OverDrive. We teamed up with other Central Texas libraries to give library users a way to download e-books, audio books, videos and music to their home computers, tablets, phones, mp3 players and other personal digital devices.

Using OverDrive

There are several different ways to use OverDrive. Select your device for instructions on how to check out digital materials on your device.

General Devices: includes Nook, Sony Reader and most non-Apple and non-Amazon devices or if you will be using a computer to use OverDrive.

App Based Devices: includes many phones and tablets, including most Apple and Android devices, Nook Color and Nook HD, and Kindle Fire.

Kindles: includes all versions Kindles.
