Text Messages
Let us know if you would prefer to receive a text message when you have items overdue, three days before your items are due or when something you've reserved is ready for you.
You can choose to receive text messages as a notification method from the library. After you're signed in, click on the "My Account" button. If your cell phone number isn't listed here, click on "Add phone number" and enter your cell phone number. From the drop down box, select "Cell" and then select your carrier. Press the "Save" button. If your cell phone number is listed here, click on the number, make sure that it's listed as "Cell" and then select your carrier. If you'd like, you can press the "Test" button and this will send you a text to make sure everything is working okay.
After your cell phone number is entered, go to the "Notification options." You can choose to receive a text whenever your items are overdue, three days before your items are due and when something that you have reserved is available for you. For each one, select the drop down box and go to the option that says "Text" and your cell phone number. Thanks for watching!
