Reserve Library Items

If you want an item that the library has but someone else has it, place a reserve on it. You can also place a reserve on items that are currently available and the library staff will pull it for you the next morning.

How to Reserve

If you want to check out an item, but someone else has it right now, you can put a reserve on it.

After you've signed into your account, search for the item. You can search by title, author, subject, other keyword or a combination of these. Here's the book that I want but it's out right now. I can tell that it's out, because it has a pink background and a zero in the "In" column. To place a reserve, just click on the item and then press the "Reserve this item" button. Select how you want to be notified when it comes in and then click "Place Reserve." This tells you where you are in line for the item and if the item is ready for you or not.

If you want to check on reserves you've placed in the past, click on the "My Account" button and then click on the “Reserves/Requests” tab. This shows you what’s currently on reserve for you, how you'll be contacted and where in line you are for it. If you don't need that item anymore, you can cancel your reserve by pressing the “Cancel” button. Thanks for watching!
