Using the Library Catalog
Log-In to Your Library Account
You can do a lot with your library account after you’ve logged in, including using the library’s online resources and materials, managing your account, and renewing and reserving library items. Click here to see how.
Need to get a library card? We can do that over the phone! Call us at 512-295-5899 and we’ll set it up for you. You will need to send a photo of your ID over e-mail (the e-mail will be provided when you call).
How to Renew Checked Out Items
We understand, sometimes you just need more time! Learn how to renew the items you have checked out with your online library account. If an item doesn’t renew, call the library at 512-295-5899. Patrons are able to renew items twice online but library staff may be able to renew it.
Buda Library Curbside Service
Pick up books, audio books, DVDs, magazines, and CDs with Curbside Service! Place books on reserve through our online catalog. After you’re notified that they are ready, park in the library parking lot during designated hours and call us at 512-295-5899.
Reserve Library Items
You can reserve available items for pick up during curbside service or be notified if any item you’d like is currently out. Items that are available will be pulled as staff have time. Please wait until you are notified before you come for pick up.

TumbleBooks (Link connects you with our catalog to sign in for access)
TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of animated, talking picture books which teach young children the joys of reading. Acces the collection by logging in to our catalog and select "TumbleBooks" under "Electronic Resources"
TeenBookCloud (Link connects you with our catalog to sign in for access)
TeenBookCloud is an online database of eBooks and educator resources perfect for your middle school, high school, or public library. They offer a robust selection of Graphic Novels, Enhanced Novels, eBooks, classic literature, National Geographic videos, educator resources, and audiobooks. Access the collection by logging in to our catalog and select "TeenBookCloud" under "Electronic Resources"
RBdigital Magazines allows you to download or read in a browser full digital copies of magazines. There’s no waiting or reserving issues; just download or access them when you’re ready!

Enjoy weekly storytimes for Toddler and Preschool children to enjoy at home! Storytimes include fingerplays, action rhymes, songs, and stories! Videos are embedded along with a storytime plan on Tuesdays for Toddler Time and Thursdays for Preschool Storytimes.

This database offers many articles and instructions for many different hobbies and crafts, such as paper quilling, geocaching, photography, creative lettering, model building, fabric painting, and so much more.
Start planning your Makers’ Lab projects! Most of our Makers’ Lab equipment operates with cloud based software. This means you could download the software and begin planning and creating your next project!
