    The HSE (High School Equivalency Certificate) is obtained after passing 4 sub-tests which include Language Arts-Writing, Language Arts-Reading, Social Studies, Science, and Mathematics. Makers' Lab Open Hours and Classes

  1. Makers' Lab Class: Creating Vector Files to Laser Cut

    February 18, 2020, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM @ Buda Public Library

    Learn how to create files using Inkscape that can be laser cut with our Glowforge Plus! Once you master the steps to creating files, you'll be able to make unique pieces of art for yourself or as gifts. Inkscape is an open source vector graphics software. Teens (ages 12 and up) and adults can use the Makers' Lab! Anyone 12-18 will need a parent/guardian signature prior to joining Open Hours or Makers' Lab Classes.

  5. Volunteer Orientation

    Prospective volunteers will learn about the library's mission and values and will receive an overview of the current volunteer opportunities offered at the library. Participants will also leave knowing how to sign-up for volunteer shifts. Please either have all volunteer paperwork turned in prior to the orientation, or bring completed paperwork to orientation.
